Wyoming Day 6 & 7 - Yellowstone National Park
We loaded up the car Thursday morning and headed to Yellowstone. We had such a great time and Logan could not have been better for us. We were in the car from about 8 in the morning to 8 at night driving to the park and then through the park all day. The sites were amazing and things you couldn't believe. Its amazing the stuff that exist in the US that I am not even knowledgable of. I now know all kinds of things about Yellowstone! We were really lucky to see so many wild animals while in the park. We saw Buffalo, Elk, Sheep, Grizzly Bear - twice, Black Bear, Moose, Black Wolf, Coyote, Bald Eagle, Antelope. It was so neat to see all these animals and pretty close up at that. The weather could not have been any more perfect. It was beautiful both Thursday and Friday. We ended our day Thursday at Old Faithful where we were able to stay at the Old Faithful Inn - it is an amazing 100 year old hotel made of logs, so neat! Here are some pics from the trip!
Logan's first experience with snow!
All of us in front of a waterfall! I love the waterfalls, such a relaxing sound too!
Logan hanging out and being a good sport!
Logan in front of the waterfall!
The black wolf!-scary, we were so close to this one!
All of us in front of the Grand Canyon at Yellowsone!
Me and Logan in front of Lake Yellowstone - this was the most awesome view. The Lake is enormous and you have the awesome mountains in the background. It looks like we are in another country!
Me and Levi in front of the lake!
Levi and Logan with some Elk!
One of the Hot Springs - It is so neat the colors that minerals create and look at all that steam - it really stinks too because of the sulfur, but only if you are right on it like they are!

Logan sporting his Yellowstone National Park hat!
Logan and Grandma Sherry with the Grizzly in the background!
Me and Levi with the Grizzly. - seriously...so close!
Watching Old Faithful go off...it is so amazing that this goes off every 90 minutes exactly!
Logan, not so interested in Old Faithful!
Old Faithful again....Look at the beautiful sky!
Once we left the park we were in Montana so we stopped for this picture going back into Wyoming-we did ALOT of driving the past two days and saw a lot of beautiful sites and country!
What an amazing trip! Thank you Bobby and Sherry for taking us and showing us such a great time. It truly is amazing that there are soooo many different terrains in one place. Did you know that the Park is on top of a 60 year overdue Volcano and it could errupt at any time and basically destroy a large portion of the US....crazy!!!!
