DART

Logan has become really good friends with our neighbor George. His mom is super nice and we really enjoy hanging out while the boys play. Nothing is better than having a handy friend and neighbor two doors down that has a kid the same age that loves all the same things as Logan. We love spending evenings letting the boys run around and play. We try to think of some different things to take them to do sometimes, Logan and George both love the DART train and get so excited every time they see it around town so we ventured out one day and got it all figured out. We got on at the White Rock station and rode it to City Place Station, we then got off (Really far under ground which we were not expecting) and took the huge escalators up to the ground. We walked to Grimaldi's and had some dinner. The boys got pizza dough to play with while we waited for our pizza. All in all it was a fun experience but not sure we will do it again :) It was stressful coming back and trying to beat the dark. Our train took forever to come, Logan had to go to the bathroom so bad and there was not a bathroom, he was almost in tears and we were under ground 5 stories deep it seemed like. Logan did LOVE the tunnels though that the train went through. It was adventurous but I probably prefer the uptown trolley for future train rides!
