Changes are happening!!

Back in June of this year Levi and I started talking about the possibility of listing our house and beginning to look into building a new one in Sunnyvale. The market was just really doing well and we thought we could take advantage and make a nice profit on our house that we purchased in 2006. After considering it we decided that we would wait until the spring and really buckle down and find something prior to Logan starting kindergarten in August of 2014. Then in early July Josh and Natasha told us about a house they were looking at Heath and decided to not purchase. It was Sunday evening and Levi was looking at it online and said, "hey, I would really like to go look at this house". I asked him why we would go look at it if we are not moving and he said he just wanted to so we loaded up and drove to Heath to take a look at the outside of the house. The following week we had the realtor that listed the house meet us to show us the inside and we really liked it. It was a short sale which meant that it could be a really long process before we were able to actually close on the house and could take MONTHS! I was heading out of town to Florida with my Mom the following week. Long story short, we put an offer on the house on July 15th and went through a long process to ever hear any news on our offer. In the meantime, we decided that we would list our house IF we received notice that seller accepted our offer. We began taking steps to getting our house ready to sell. We unloaded all the stuff in our attic, took out some furniture and de cluttered as much as we could to make our house look great!! Sara did a great job helping us make everything look perfect.

Weston and Sue came over to help us get a load to storage and George and Logan were hard at work loading boxes outside!!

On August 8, 2013 our sweet first home hit the market! Exactly one month shy of our 7 year home anniversary!!
