Updates Galore!

So....I decided that I am only a positive blogger....I only like to take the time to type out the good and fun stuff and not the not so good. So here is a recap of our not so good stuff lately with some REALLY good stuff as well.

So poor little Logan has been through a heck of a lot of sickness and back since basically his birthday and when we put him in day care. He first got RSV the week of Christmas. Keeping him out of daycare for two weeks we made it through that. He went back to day care for a week and then the following week was just as bad off as he was the week of Christmas. Apparently, he got RSV again (didn't even know that was possible). Decided at that point we wanted to find alternate options to daycare for sweet little Logan. So, he has now officially made his transition and is staying with my wonderful friend Tracy and her 5 month old little boy Pierce. It has been such a blessing for Tracy to take Logan in and take such good care of him. Tracy was a 1st grade teacher and decided after having Pierce she would stay home. We are sooooo happy about Logan's new arrangements. He gets to take two naps a day again and comes home so happy each day! Thanks Tracy....YOU ARE AWESOME!

Now back to the bad......after Logan got RSV the second time he did not go back to daycare again. We kept him out for three weeks and then he started at Tracy's. he started getting sick again last week and Levi took him to the doctor (bad idea BTW...lets just say the "male recap" was not very sufficient, especially when Logan had FOUR prescriptions and Levi could not tell me what two of them were for). Turns out he had strep throat and he was back to wheezing pretty bad again. We are now doing two different breathing treatments a day for Reactive Airway Disease (basically asthma for little ones) and he had ANOTHER ear infection. The pediatrician wanted us to go to see an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor to get Logan checked out for all his problems lately. We were able to make an appt. for the same day. The ENT recommended we get Tubes in Logan's ears due to the number of ear infections he has had in the past 6 months as well as getting his adenoids removed. After several questions and thinking we decided to do it. Logan is scheduled for this Friday 2/12 for Adenoid removal and to get tubes in his ear. The doctor is also in this surgery looking to see if Logan has a SubMoucousal Cleft pallet. I wont go into that until we know if it is for sure or not but if he does have that apparently it will help explain a lot of his issues.

Sooooo...that is what we have been up to lately. Of course Logan is still the sweetest and happiest little boy through it all and you would never even know he was sick. He is such a little trooper. One of my biggest concerns about Friday morning is the fact that Logan CANT have breakfast, not even water. That boy LOVES is Bananas and blueberry breakfast and is going to be upset!
